Department Membership Awards
Recruiter of the Year (Department)
The Legionnaire that recruits the most new members into the organization will be presented a plaque and a check for $100 at the Department Convention.
Gold Brigade – 30 new members – $100 check
Silver Brigade – 20 new members – $50 check
Bronze Brigade – 10 new members – $25 check
Al Ford Award
The Legionnaire that recruits the most delinquent members back into the organization will receive a plaque and a check for $100 at the Department Convention. A delinquent member is defined as a member that last held a membership in 2016 or earlier.
Every post that reaches their assigned goal be December 31, 2017 will receive $1.50 for each member that has been processed by the National Organization and appears on the MyLegion roster for that post on December 31, 2017.
Post that are 100% by April 30 will receive a 100% ribbon for the post colors.
Post that are 100% by May 18 will receive a 100% board or if you have a board a 100% sticker for your board.
Gary W. Sammons Trophy
District with highest percentage of current membership renewals compared with its previous years’ membership renewals.
Wilson H. Morrison Trophy
District that first reaches its previous years’ membership.
Larry Knox Trophy
District with highest percentage of current membership compared with it’s previous years’ membership
Any Zone Commander who has all districts reach 100% will be award a Department jacket.
